Zverev Responds To Federers Criticism Nothing I Dont Already Know

Zverev responds to Federer's criticism: "Nothing I don't already know"

Alexander Zverev has responded to Roger Federer's recent criticism, saying that he is not surprised by the Swiss maestro's comments.

Federer had said that Zverev needed to "learn how to behave" on the court, after the German was involved in a number of incidents during the Australian Open.

Zverev was fined for unsportsmanlike conduct after smashing his racket and arguing with the umpire during his third-round match against Radu Albot.

He also received a suspended ban from the ATP Tour after verbally abusing an umpire during his second-round match against Jeremy Chardy.

Federer said that Zverev's behavior was "not acceptable" and that he needed to "grow up".

Zverev has now responded to Federer's criticism, saying that he is not surprised by the comments and that he is working on improving his behavior.

"I know what I need to do," Zverev said. "I'm working on it. I'm not perfect. I make mistakes. But I'm trying to learn from them and get better."

Zverev said that he understands Federer's frustration, but he also believes that the Swiss legend is being a little harsh.

"I think he's being a little bit hard on me," Zverev said. "I'm not a bad person. I'm just trying to win matches and be the best player I can be.

"I'm not going to change who I am. I'm going to keep playing my game and trying to win," Zverev said. "But I'm also going to try to be more respectful of my opponents and the umpires."
