Birmingham Airport is once again under fire after passengers faced long queues and delays on Monday morning. The airport said that the queues were caused by an increase in the number of passengers travelling, but passengers have been complaining about travel chaos at the airport all year.
On Monday, 23 out of 7500 passengers missed their flights after being caught in long queues at security. Passengers also reported having to wait for several hours to collect their baggage.
The airport has been criticized for its handling of the situation, with some passengers calling it a "disgrace" and "beyond awful".
The latest chaos comes after a year of problems at the airport, including long queues, flight cancellations and delays.
The airport has said that it is working to improve the situation, but passengers are still being advised to arrive at the airport well in advance of their flights.
